Universally usable
o you like to go on vacation and do not have enough space in your car
o you have children and the trunk is already ocuppied with the buggy
o you go skiing and don’t want the ski shoes or ski clothing inside the car

o you want additional storage space, but not a roof box because the access is to
difficult, where with the CARUX it is simple.

Vehicles
It is universal usable and fits on nearly all hatchbacks. All six hooks are made out of steel which are plastic-coated.
The plastic coating prevents damage of the paintwork.
Assembly
The assembly and disassembly of the CARUX it is like a children's game. It is done in one to two minutes. To hook it on is simply done with tension belts. There are six of them that give a safe and secure fit.
To take it off, just relieve the belts and pull them into the CARUX where they disappear. Please have a look to the video in the "images & video" area.
Sits absolutely secure
In order to ensure that the CARUX sits reliably on its vehicle, it sits on with 4 large rubber feet. These function like suction cups, giving it an additional hold together with the six tension belts and therefore preventing your vehicle getting scratched.
Folding
If the CARUX is not needed, it can be folded together because it is only approx. 7cm (3,5 inches) high. It can after be packed into a protection bag which will be delivered with it. The bag has two big holders so it is easy to carry.
Because the CARUX is so flat, you can store it anywhere, in the trunk, garage, cellar or under the bed.
Roller suitcase
Because the CARUX has 2 wheels at the side, it can be used also as a roller suitcase, which helps to transport your luggage easily to or from the car.
Use the CARUX as a suitcase, put in your luggage for vacation, take it on your journey to the plane and when you arrive at your destination just strap it onto your rental car.
No additional fuel consumption
Because the CARUX is mounted behind the car and not like a roof box on the top, it does not create any additional drag and therefore no additional fuel costs.
Weatherproof
The outer material is dirt-repellant and waterproof. Humidity can only enter through the zips and stitching. In order to make sure during wet or rain the items in the CARUX do not become wet, the CARUX comes with a waterproof rain cover.
Simply pull it over the CARUX, fix it on the top with the zip and on the bottom with the rubber-cord.
After use it can be simply folded up and be stored away into a side pocket of the CARUX.
German TÜV (German technical road control authorities)
The CARUX was checked by the TÜV. It was loaded over the maximum weight and exposed to different driving conditions. Acceleration, hard braking, extreme driving along curves etc…. It passed all tests with bravery and received the official German TÜV certification.
Further on it was examined by different car TV programs where it successfully managed all situations.
Finally it received the status of “highly recommended”.
